Plunkett has performed alongside Foy Vance in live settings, including Scotland, Ireland and England tour support, the Bushmills Distillery session, and billed appearances at large-scale events in Northern Ireland.

Other festivals, residencies and performances
Plunkett has appeared at festivals including the StAnza Poetry Festival, Aspects Irish Literature Festival, and served as poet-in-residence for the Soutar Festival of Words, where he undertook community writing projects. He has also performed at Taigh Chearsabhagh Arts Centre, The Bakehouse, and numerous spoken-word events across Scotland.

Poetry slam achievements
In 2016, Plunkett won the Bangor heat of the All Ireland Poetry Slam at the Aspects Festival in Northern Ireland.
